Terms of Service
Last updated: May 10, 2026
1. Who We Are
These Terms of Service govern your use of the coaching services offered by Grant Valley, doing business as 503 Sprints, based in Portland, Oregon (“Coach,” “we,” “us”). By booking a session you agree to these terms.
2. Services
503 Sprints provides individualized and small-group sprint coaching for student-athletes in grades 6–12. Sessions take place in the Portland metro area at locations confirmed at the time of booking. Services are provided by Grant Valley, a former Division I collegiate sprinter.
3. Booking and Payment
Sessions are booked through our online scheduling system (Cal.com). Full payment is due at the time of booking and is processed securely via Stripe. Your booking is not confirmed until payment is received.
By providing payment information you authorize Stripe to charge the applicable session fee. We do not store your credit card number on our servers.
4. Cancellation and Refunds
- Cancellations with 24+ hours notice— you may reschedule at no charge. Refunds for early cancellations are issued at Coach’s discretion.
- Cancellations with less than 24 hours notice — the session fee is forfeited unless extraordinary circumstances apply (illness with documentation, family emergency).
- No-shows — sessions missed without any notice are non-refundable and cannot be rescheduled.
- Coach-initiated cancellations — if Coach must cancel, you will receive a full refund or priority reschedule, your choice.
5. Code of Conduct
We expect all athletes and parents/guardians to:
- Arrive on time and ready to train
- Treat Coach and other participants with respect
- Communicate health concerns or injuries before each session
- Follow Coach’s safety instructions at all times
- Refrain from disruptive, disrespectful, or unsafe behavior
Repeated violations of these expectations may result in termination of services without refund (see Section 8).
6. Liability Disclaimer
Participation in sprint training involves inherent physical risks. Before your first session, all participants (and parents/guardians for athletes under 18) must review and agree to our Release of Liability, Waiver of Claims, and Assumption of Risk Agreement. These Terms of Service do not replace that waiver — both apply.
To the maximum extent permitted by Oregon law, Coach is not liable for injuries, losses, or damages arising from participation in coaching sessions.
7. Photo and Media Release
By participating in sessions, you grant 503 Sprints permission to photograph or video athletes during training for promotional use on social media, the website, and marketing materials. If you do not consent, notify Coach in writing by email before your first session. See also Section 6 of the Liability Waiver.
8. Right to Refuse or Terminate Service
503 Sprints reserves the right to decline or discontinue services for any reason, including but not limited to safety concerns, code-of-conduct violations, or a judgment that the training environment is not a good fit. If services are terminated by Coach without cause, a prorated refund will be issued for unused prepaid sessions.
9. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Oregon. Any dispute arising under these Terms shall be resolved in the courts of Washington County, Oregon.
10. Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. When we do, we will post the revised version here with an updated “Last updated” date. For material changes, we will notify active clients by email at least 14 days before the change takes effect. Continued use of our services after that date constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
